Tsunagi Town in southern Kumamoto Prefecture is a small town with a population of about 4,000 people and an area of 34.08 km². Approximately 64% of the town is covered by forests, with only 2-3% being flat land, and the town is characterized by its sloping terrain. Since 1984, the town has been promoting town development through art, and has been developing resident-participation art projects, centered around 16 outdoor sculptures and the Tsunagi Museum. In addition, citrus fruit cultivation and sea bream, pufferfish, and flounder farming are thriving, making this a town where rich nature and culture blend together.

The restaurant attached to Tsunagi Onsen Hotel Shikisai is a relaxing dining space where you can experience the town's nature and the seasons with all your senses. At lunchtime, you can enjoy dishes made with plenty of fresh local vegetables and fish by the light-filled window.
For dinner, we offer mainly party dishes that carefully bring out the bounty of the land. With each dish, you can enjoy the taste of Tsunagi's scenery and the daily lives of the people. The long-loved "Tsunagi Onsen Shikisai" has renovated some of its facilities to make its use even more comfortable. As before, you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the soft spring water and quiet environment.
While keeping the same feel as the bathhouse itself, we have made improvements to the rest area to make it cleaner and easier to use. From the windows you can see the mountain ridges and the sea, and you can spend a relaxing time feeling the changing nature of Tsunagi from morning to evening. Please come and experience the unchanging warmth and slightly new comfort that will gently soothe your daily fatigue.
